Marsh appoints captive strategy head
Marsh has appointed Shawn Willis as captive strategy leader for the Pacific – a new role that the broker says reflects clients’ growing demand for advice.
“Shawn will work closely with Marsh’s captive management and placement teams across the Pacific region to help clients evaluate and optimise their risk retention strategies,” Marsh said.
“He will identify opportunities to improve captive performance, and develop clear, long-term captive utilisation plans aligned with each client’s risk and business objectives.
“This is an expanded role for Shawn, and he will continue as strategic client director.
“His extensive experience working with large and complex clients, including on captive utilisation and alternative risk transfer solutions, will further strengthen Marsh’s ability to deliver practical, data-driven strategies that help clients unlock greater value from their captive programs.”
Mr Willis has been with Marsh for the past 20 years, first as managing principal and then as practice leader. He previously worked for WTW.
