AUB hunts for finance chief as ‘instrumental’ exec leaves
AUB Group is searching for a new CFO following the departure of Mark Shanahan after almost eight years in the role.
Nick Dryden is acting as interim finance chief. He joined the intermediary group as deputy CFO in June 2023 after 15 years at Macquarie.
“I would like to congratulate Nick on his appointment, and we look forward to continuing working with him as we execute on our exciting growth strategies,” CEO and MD Mike Emmett said. “I would like to personally thank Mark for his contribution over the years, which has been instrumental in positioning AUB for continued success.”
AUB has also announced that director Richard Deutsch has retired. Tonianne Dwyer, who was appointed a director in November, has replaced him as board audit and risk committee chair.
“Richard has been an outstanding contributor ... I want to thank Richard for his service and wish him all the very best for the future,” chair Peter Harmer said.
“We are pleased to announce Tonianne’s appointment to the role and look forward to her ongoing contribution.”
AUB is forecasting underlying net profit of $215-$227 million this year – a gain of 7%-13%.
