Chubb appoints NZ country president
Chubb has named Jon Longmore country president for New Zealand, in the latest leadership change at the insurer.
He will report to Chris Colahan, who is acting country president for Australia and New Zealand after Ben Howell left the position in April.
Mr Longmore has worked at Chubb for 15 years, holding roles in Australia and Singapore before he became country president for Indonesia in 2020 and country president of Malaysia in 2024.
He will be based in Auckland, leading the NZ general insurance business including commercial property and casualty, personal lines, and accident and health.
Last December, Chubb appointed Ben Carey as interim country president for New Zealand. He is Chubb’s head of operations and field distribution for Asia-Pacific, based in Sydney, and he continues in that role.
