Former Chubb leader leaves ICA board
Chubb’s former country president for Australia and New Zealand Ben Howell is no longer a member of the Insurance Council board.
Mr Howell left Chubb last month, with Asia-Pacific head of commercial property and casualty Chris Colahan taking over as country president on an interim basis. The insurer has not provided any comment on the changes.
Mr Howell was appointed to the Insurance Council of Australia board in October last year, when the peak body hailed his experience “across multiple lines of insurance”.
“ICA thanks Mr Howell for his contributions during his tenure,” a spokesperson told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
