SIRA names new CEO
NSW’s State Insurance Regulatory Authority has appointed Megan Main as CEO, replacing Mandy Young, who departed in May.
Ms Main recently concluded a five-year term as CEO of New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation.
Before that, she co-led New Zealand’s managed isolation and quarantine system.
“Ms Main’s experience in delivering a national no-fault insurance scheme and extensive experience in the healthcare sector will be a significant asset to SIRA as it oversees improved outcomes for the community in the NSW workers’ compensation, compulsory third party and home building compensation schemes,” SIRA said.
Ms Main takes up the role on October 12.
