Coalition has brought its Active Cyber Insurance for Enterprises product to Australia, offering businesses limits of up to $35 million under a relationship with Allianz.

The product was launched in the US in July, Europe in September and Canada last month.

More than 130,000 enterprise policyholders use the package, which includes live telemetry and a comprehensive profile tailored to each organisation’s unique cybersecurity posture.

Allianz agreed in May to move its standalone commercial cyber insurance business to US-based Coalition, and provides long-term capacity, distribution channels and corporate underwriting, service delivery and claims support.

The expanded partnership “means we can support a broader range of Australian businesses with cyber cover that responds to the risks they face today”, says Julie Mitchell, chief GM for commercial and personal injury at Allianz Australia.
