Chris Bayley has established Sydney-based Cove, an AI platform that provides application programming interface infrastructure for travel aggregators.

The start-up’s CEO previously co-founded Cover Genius, now valued at $2.7 billion and successful in the US and other countries. 

“We’re incubating a stealth insurtech based in Sydney and hiring multiple SWE [software engineering] roles,” Mr Bayley said on LinkedIn. “Exciting and unique opportunity for anyone who wants to join the founding team of an AI-native insurtech that stands on top of a scaled, resourced and highly profitable insurance business.” 

Cove says it is “the AI-powered operating system for the travel industry” and is the software arm of Deck2, a private equity-backed operating partner. 

“The Cove platform empowers our travel industry owned and operated assets to modernise and scale with a unified platform for ancillaries optimisation, payments, data, personalisation and more.”
