Guidewire buys Canadian incubator graduate
Guidewire will acquire ProNavigator, a Canadian insurance start-up that participated in the software group’s Insurtech Vanguards incubator program.
ProNavigator says its AI-enabled platform is used by 34 insurance organisations to increase productivity, reduce claim times, personalise customer service and speed employee onboarding.
The acquisition is expected to close next year, and Guidewire plans to integrate ProNavigator’s tech across its own platform, giving underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers, agents and customer service representatives advanced data retrieval capability.
“ProNavigator, inside of Guidewire, makes every insurance professional an expert,” Guidewire CEO Mike Rosenbaum said.
“It helps people work smarter, providing faster responses, clearer communication and personalised guidance to create a more modern experience for their customers.”
ProNavigator founder and CEO Joseph D’Souza says joining Guidewire will extend the insurtech’s impact across the insurance industry.
“Our AI-powered platform is purpose-built for insurance and used by carriers, [agencies] and brokerages across North America to give front-line teams instant access to the right information,” he said.
