Former Zurich claims manager Fifita Ngaue has rejoined the insurer as Australian senior head of retail life claims.

Zurich says Ms Ngaue will lead “transformation” of the life claims team, including improvements to the claims experience and investing in digital solutions.

“Fifita brings a wealth of claims expertise to this role and has a track record for delivering great customer outcomes,” chief claims officer Matt Paterson said.

“We look forward to the energy and experience she will bring to the team.”

Ms Ngaue was most recently MetLife head of claims. Before that she was CommInsure retail income protection claims manager, after leaving a technical claims manager role with Zurich in 2017.
