Aon makes specialty appointments

Aon Australia has appointed Hayley Pettit as chief broking officer for specialty, while Natalie Cotter and Emily Hallahan have become joint NSW leaders for financial institutions and professional lines.

Ms Pettit says she has taken the new role while continuing to lead the Queensland financial institutions team.

“Over the past 19 years, I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible clients and colleagues, build lasting relationships and learn from some of the best people in our industry,” she said on LinkedIn.

“This new role provides an opportunity to bring those experiences together and support our specialty teams in delivering outstanding outcomes for clients across Australia.”

Aon Australia head of specialty Alistair Clarke says the appointment of Ms Cotter and Ms Hallahan strengthens the broker’s capability in financial institutions and professional lines, and enhances support to clients across a complex risk landscape.

“Bringing Natalie and Emily together creates a powerful combination of client insight, technical expertise and market experience,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

“Drawing on extensive careers across Australian and UK markets, they bring complementary strengths across broking, client advisory, financial services, underwriting, product management and risk management.”

Ms Cotter and Ms Hallahan were previously Aon client directors.
