Steadfast Group has partnered with CGU to launch an SME workers’ compensation facility.

The facility, launched at this week’s Steadfast Convention on the Gold Coast, will start for new business on April 1, with access via a new code in Sunrise.

Features include a new SME limit across WA, ACT, NT and Tasmania. The facility also promises underwriting responses with 24 hours and says a 5% commission is retained by the placing broker.

The facility has been launched in conjunction with Steadfast Workplace Risk, which offers services including broking, return to work and injury management, and claims management, plus health services.

"As workers compensation markets in WA, ACT, NT and Tasmania become more expensive and a larger concern for business, we have worked closely to deliver a solution that supports the network, helps differentiate your value proposition to clients and ultimately drives stronger income growth," Steadfast said in a note to brokers.
