‘Just the beginning’ as Howden expands commercial arm

Howden has added to its commercial team and launched an agricultural specialty unit, bringing in experienced broking professionals who will collaborate with its equine team and others.

“This is just the beginning – there’s more planned for 2026 and beyond,” the business said on its LinkedIn page.

Howden says the commercial team hires “strengthen our capabilities and allow us to deliver even greater support to our clients across the small and medium-sized business space”.

New team members in NSW are senior associate Alex Hutton; broker Mitchell James; agribusiness partner Matthew Thomas; associates Brooke Mooney and Morgan Buckle; and commercial partners David Harry and Anthony Mahon.

Other recent hires include commercial partner Stefanie Whitchelo and commercial senior associate Lauren Mason in Brisbane; commercial partner Bradley Tindall in Adelaide; and commercial partner Nick Oldridge, commercial associate Angus Collins and senior broker Mudi Guo in Melbourne.
