McLardy McShane endorses Cova AR tool

Insurtech Cova’s broking platform will be recommended to McLardy McShane Group authorised representatives nationwide.

Cova was co-founded in Brisbane by Andrew Birt and Matt Almond, formerly an underwriter at Zurich. The pair also founded UpSure in 2020.

The platform is designed for insurance intermediaries and aims to make everyday broking easier, faster and more efficient.

“People have been receiving it really well – it’s allowing staff to focus on sales,” McLardy McShane told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“Built by brokers who understand the demands of the industry, Cova is designed to reduce admin time, improve productivity and support brokers with the tasks that take up valuable hours in the day.”

The AI-enabled platform helps with drafting emails and submissions, analysing policies and risks, comparing cover options, summarising meetings, creating training material, pre-renewals, placements and PDF conversions. It also assists with client renewal reports and analyses policy wordings to help respond to claims.

McLardy McShane says it presented the technology to about 200 professionals and “had a great response to it, as we are listening to what ARs need in their business”.

The group has also praised Cova’s support with onboarding and updates to get the best out of the app.

Community Broker Network has also endorsed the Cova platform.
