NIBA subcommittee gives NT members ‘loud and clear’ voice
The National Insurance Brokers Association has launched a subcommittee in NT to give members in remote areas a “strong voice, meaningful opportunities for connection, and access to industry-leading support and representation”.
Marsh managing principal Tom Harvie is chair, and Gallagher’s Brooke Woods, Insurance Advisernet’s Eric Blanch and Marsh’s Jasmin O’Daniel are on the committee.
“We are committed to being present where our members are,” NIBA president Nick Cook said. “The launch of the NT subcommittee is an important step in ensuring brokers in the region feel connected, represented and supported as part of our national broking community.”
An ACT subcommittee was launched last year, and CEO Richard Klipin says NIBA is determined to ensure members can “engage, contribute and thrive”. The NT subcommittee brings together a dynamic group of leaders and will ensure their unique perspectives “shape the national conversation”.
Mr Harvie says the subcommittee will ensure NT brokers are “heard loud and clear”.
“The Northern Territory has a unique operating environment and it is important that brokers here have a strong local voice within the broader national conversation,” he said.
