Australia’s largest gathering of general insurance professionals will return to Adelaide next year.

The Steadfast Convention’s 2027 venue was announced as this year’s event came to a conclusion on the Gold Coast.

The conference wrapped up with a Greek-themed gala dinner on Tuesday night, as $452,000 was raised for Guide Dogs Queensland.

Organisers said about 1700 people attended the convention, which opened on Sunday night with a welcome event at Miami Marketta.

Conference sessions included CEO Robert Kelly looking back at 30 years of Steadfast, plus speeches from comedian and event MC Adam Spencer and former tennis pro Jelena Dokic.

The Steadfast Convention was last held in Adelaide in 2022, following a two-year break during the covid pandemic.
