Transport specialists Insuret and ATL will combine to form a single platform for fleet and trucking insurance in the Envest underwriting group.

Both agencies issue insurance on behalf of Hollard, with ATL specialising in commercial and heavy motor risks for small and medium-sized transport operators.  

Insuret covers rental car operations, ride-share platforms, peer-to-peer services and subscription-based mobility providers. 

Under the merger, Insuret founder and MD Jason McDonnell will step back from day-to-day operations, with ATL CEO Jason Hawksworth to take on leadership.

The businesses have moved to a shared base in Brisbane.
