The Association of Insurance Building and Engineering Consultants will hold its first awards dinner in Sydney on November 12.

CEO Tony Libke says the awards program is a milestone for the association, established in 2024, and the four prize categories have generated interest across the industry.

“The awards recognise the significant achievements and contributions of individuals and organisations to the insurance industry,” he said.

“They also acknowledge those who continue to strengthen the AiBEC community by promoting and striving for excellence in reporting and related areas.”

The categories are:

• Certificate in Claims Consulting achievement award
• Claims consulting expert
• Claims fulfilment provider
• Innovation in claims consulting

Mr Libke says the evening will also recognise members of the AiBEC community who have contributed pro bono reports under an arrangement with the Financial Rights Legal Centre, and those who have contributed time and expertise to AiBEC’s technical and special purpose committees.
