Guidewire has appointed Zack Levy as senior director of professional services, Asia-Pacific, based in Sydney. 

Mr Levy, who has more than 25 years’ IT industry experience, will be responsible for leading Guidewire's regional services organisation to ensure insurers realise full value from their cloud and core platform investments, the company says. 

He is also tasked with delivering complex transformation programs while partnering with C-suite stakeholders to drive technology-led innovation, increasingly powered by artificial intelligence. 

Mr Levy was previously head of cloud services at Sapiens. Prior to his role at Sapiens, he was at Capgemini as Head of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and Custom Applications. He has also held roles at companies including Deloitte, Strut Digital, BlueFire Corporation and Telstra. 

Guidewire also announced Carol-Ann Gough has been appointed vice president, alliances, APAC, while retaining her current role as vice president, customer success, APAC.
