Major online insurance hub Netxsurance has bought software and IT services provider Actionquote from Misys for an undisclosed amount. Brisbane-based Actionquote produces programs for intermediaries to receive quotes from the major insurers, as well as a marketing tool that allows insurers to analyse the position of their products in the market. Netxsurance COO Julian Clark said the acquisition creates effective synergies.
