Ag Guard brings in NZ head
Glynn Howell has been appointed New Zealand country head at agricultural underwriting agency Ag Guard.
Mr Howell has spent 11 years at IAG, most recently as EM of partner engagement at NZI. He also worked for almost nine years at Lumley, finishing in 2014 as branch manager for Wellington and Nelson, and once held a broking role at Aon.
“Ag Guard’s path remains closely connected to NZI, so this feels more like a continuation than a goodbye,” Christchurch-based Mr Howell said.
“I’m excited for what lies ahead and for the opportunity to contribute to both our industry and the rural economy in a new way.
“I’m deeply grateful for the colleagues, brokers and partners I’ve had the privilege to work alongside. The support, teamwork and friendships built along the way have made this journey truly rewarding.”
