Hollard hires former banking exec as risk chief
Hollard Insurance Australia has recruited Mark Adams from the banking sector to be its chief risk officer.
Mr Adams has more than 20 years’ experience spanning financial services and regulation, including more than seven years as CRO for Westpac’s institutional bank and treasury.
He has held senior leadership roles with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and NAB, and before that worked in London for Natwest Markets and Mobil Oil.
“Mark brings deep expertise and leadership across risk and governance, and a practical understanding of how strong risk management underpins sustainable business performance,” Hollard said on LinkedIn.
“We look forward to drawing on his experience as we continue working towards our vision of becoming Australia’s insurance partner of choice.”
