IAG director steps down
IAG says independent non-executive director David Armstrong has left the board for medical reasons.
Mr Armstrong joined the board in September 2021 and was chair of the audit committee and a member of the risk committee.
His career has included spells as a partner at PwC and a director at NAB.
IAG chair Tom Pockett says the insurer is “grateful for David’s contribution and character. David has brought wisdom, curiosity and intelligence to our board and organisation.
“In particular, we benefited from his listed company expertise and knowledge of reporting, regulatory and risk challenges faced by the industry.”
