IAG revamps intermediated executive team
IAG’s Intermediated Insurance Australia has promoted Dustin Bartley to the reshaped role of EGM customer and growth for CGU and WFI under changes taking effect on Friday.
Mr Bartley has led the workers’ compensation business for the past five years, delivering strong outcomes while transforming its capability, IAG says.

Chloe Porges will take over as EM of workers’ compensation, having led the claims function for five years.
Damien Gallagher – who was last year appointed EGM of CX and growth for CGU and WFI – will leave after 15 years, with IAG saying he has made a significant contribution to the business, its broker partners and customers.
CGU and WFI CEO Jarrod Hill says the refinements to the division’s structure will reduce operational complexity and better align functional capabilities.
“To achieve our growth ambition and create a future-fit operation, we must continue to evolve and execute at pace,” he said today.
“This is a necessary step change that reflects our commitment to meet market demands and, importantly, will lift our execution, service and responsiveness to brokers, partners and customers.”
The intermediated division restructured its operations 18 months ago and is midway through a migration to the Commercial Enterprise Platform, which is replacing legacy technology.
IAG says the latest changes, including realignment of functions and repointing of positions, will speed up decision-making and sharpen governance, transparency and accountabilities.
