Law firm branches into advisory
Wotton Kearney has opened an advisory service for clients seeking risk, cyber and regulatory guidance.
The law firm says WK Advisory’s launch “reflects a growing convergence between legal services and advisory capability as organisations navigate digital transformation, heightened regulation and evolving threat landscapes”.
Chief executive partner David Kearney says the advisory will initially focus on cyber, data and technology as “the first step in our advisory business expansion, and there will be further advisory pillar announcements to the benefit of our clients as business risks continue to expand”.
Matt O’Keefe, most recently KPMG Asia-Pacific cybersecurity leader, has been appointed head of advisory for cyber, data and technology, based in Melbourne.
He will work with former Deloitte cyber specialist Josh Simonis.
