Marcus Pearson has begun work as Lockton’s Pacific CEO, overseeing its Australian and New Zealand business.

He was appointedin March after Paul Marsden left the job to take a consulting position at the company.

Mr Pearson has held leadership positions at Marsh, including eight years as CEO of its New Zealand division and four years as head of Marsh Specialty Pacific.

He was also Marsh McLennan Pacific’s chief commercial officer from September 2023.

Before that, he spent seven years at JLT Australia, including as business development MD.

Lockton International CEO Chris Brown says Mr Pearson has “a fabulous track record focusing on clients and business growth in Australia and New Zealand.

“Marcus’ unique experience working with clients and associates will help us build on the substantial growth we have seen in our Pacific business.”
