QBE says board member Kathy Lisson will retire after its annual general meeting in May.

Ms Lisson has served as a non-executive director for nearly 10 years, and previously worked as the insurer’s European COO from 2009 to 2011.

She has also worked in the UK and Canada, including leadership roles at Brit Insurance, Barclays Bank, Bank of Montreal and PwC.

QBE chair Mike Wilkins thanked Ms Lisson for “her significant contribution and the expertise she brought to QBE. Her counsel on technology and transformation, together with her perspectives on governance, have been highly valued and we wish her all the best in her retirement”.
