Scott Winton partners with Network Insurance House
Melbourne-headquartered brokerage Scott Winton has announced a “strategic partnership” with Steadfast-owned Network Insurance House.
Scott Winton CEO Avi Tatarka will become executive director, remaining on the board, as NIH CEO Andrew Broughton takes on the additional role of Scott Winton CEO.
A statement from the two companies says they will continue to operate independently, “each retaining its identity and client and partner relationships”.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to client advocacy, integrity and long-term sustainability,” the statement says.
“By aligning strengths and integrating capabilities where it matters most, Scott Winton and Network Insurance House further strengthen their ability to represent clients effectively, access broader solutions, and deliver strong outcomes in a rapidly evolving insurance landscape.”
Scott Winton was founded in 1992 by Mr Tatarka’s father, the late Ron Tatarka. It has offices in St Kilda and Sydney.
Insurance House and Network Insurance Group last year merged to create Network Insurance House.
In January last year, NIH said it had 60,000 clients and placed $800 million in premium.
Today’s statement says NIH and Scott Winton together will serve about 70,000 clients and place more than $1 billion in annual premium.
