Drew Schnehage has resigned as Solvd Group Australia CEO and taken a role as director of global business development at Insure Connect Services.

Insure Connect Services, based in Cape Town, provides insurers, agencies and brokers with staff in areas such as claims, account handling and back office administration in South Africa, where it says the cost is lower.

Brisbane-based Ms Schnehage is a former Hollard GM and has been at Solvd – which aims to reduce motor claim and repair settlement times – for eight years.

“This decision wasn’t easy. I’ve poured my heart into this business,” she said. “Leading our region’s transformation from a loss-incurring operation to a profitable, high-performing contributor to the global group has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey.”
