Adica Insurance CEO and MD Dean Cullen has joined the Insurance Council of Australia board as a non-executive director. 

Mr Cullen, who joined Adica in July 2020, has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, working across banking, intermediated distribution and direct-to-customer fields. 

He has held senior management roles at QBE Insurance, NAB and ANZ banks. At ANZ he was responsible for large-scale financial institution programs across personal and commercial lines.  

Mr Cullen is also chair of the Rural Financial Counselling Service Board in Victoria. The ICA says his experience in helping rural and regional communities grappling with intensifying extreme weather events will be an important asset.
