More help for NSW flood claimants
The Insurance Council of Australia will host consultations for flood victims across NSW’s Mid North Coast.
Insurers will visit Kempsey, Taree and Port Macquarie to meet customers affected by May’s floods and discuss their claims.
About 13,200 claims have been made following the floods, costing insurers about $235 million, according to ICA data.
Meeting attendees can find out about claims processes, dispute resolution avenues and other ways to assist with their recovery.
The sessions will be at:
- Oddfellows Hall in West Kempsey on September 16 from 9am-5pm
- Manning Uniting Church in Taree on September 17 from 9am-5pm
- Panthers Port Macquarie in Port Macquarie on September 18 from 9am-5pm
