The first in a series of Association of Insurance Building & Engineering Consultants lunches will be held in Sydney on February 25.  

The event will feature NSW assistant building commissioner Matt Press as part of a consultation on the development of a dedicated insurance repair works guide for class 2 strata buildings in the state.

A technical committee will be formed to develop recommendations and work with Building Commission NSW to finalise the guide, which is expected in July.
