The Australasian Professional Indemnity Group’s national conference in Sydney on September 10 will feature industry leaders discussing the trends, risks and market developments shaping the future of insurance.

APIG says attendees will gain insights across professional indemnity, directors and officers and cyber cover, data breach lawsuits, alternative risk transfer, financial services reforms and emerging risk.

Andre Martin of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions will discuss alternative risk transfer solutions, and Axa XL head of financial lines Ewen McKay and Aon head of D&O Julie Hamilton will outline trends and pressures in the D&O market.

There will be panel discussions on AI centres and data breach class actions in Australia.
