The Australasian Professional Indemnity Group has presented Aon Australia head of construction Mary-Catherine Hamill with its biennial award for excellence.

Ms Hamill was handed the Gilchrist Connell Frank Earl Award at the group’s national conference last week in recognition of her “ability to lead with integrity, communicate with transparency, and act with honesty, even when the stakes are high”.

APIG says her work is a testament to the values of honesty, integrity and transparency championed by Mr Earl, who was one of Australia’s most highly regarded brokers.  

The award, established in 2010, includes a credit towards attending a domestic or international conference.
