Nominations for the 10th Mansfield Awards are open until tomorrow, and the winners will be crowned in Sydney on August 27.

The claims awards cover personal lines, SME and corporate property and casualty, specialty and workers’ compensation.

The winner in each category enters the running for the Gold Mansfield overall prize, and the Purple Mansfield goes to a company or individual that has “gone above and beyond and provided service that has made a real difference to a client or a community”.

Organiser LMI Group’s founder and executive chairman Allan Manning says the awards “celebrate the extremely important and often overlooked work of claims teams in Australia”.

The awards are non-profit, with surplus funds donated to the Amal Mulia Orphanage in Indonesia.

Last year, Suncorp-owned insurer Vero took the Gold Mansfield for the sixth consecutive year, and Allianz’s Christopher Tsalikis won the Purple Mansfield.
