Gallagher has appointed Ian Rouse as executive director for credit, surety and political risks.  

Mr Rouse has more than 25 years’ experience in the UK and Australia, including positions at Marsh, where he had three stints, QBE, Liberty Specialty Markets and Ironshore Insurance.

Gallagher says Mr Rouse has expertise in structuring placements for key surety matters and has worked with financial institutions to secure cover for complex trade transactions.
