Nathan Carey has been appointed EGM general insurance for Gallagher Bassett Australia.

Mr Carey has been with the claims management firm for more than a decade, most recently as COO for Gallagher Bassett International.

In that role, he led several key strategic activities, including work with the Gallagher Centre of Excellence.

He was with Allianz for almost a decade, then the Cover-More Group before joining Gallagher Bassett in March 2016. 

Gallagher Bassett says that throughout Mr Carey’s career, he has led large-scale operations, business transformation and operating model improvement initiatives across Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK.
