Blake Gleeson has been appointed to the new role of chief client officer at Gallagher in Perth.

He has spent the past six years at Marsh, finishing as MD head of employee benefits.

Mr Gleeson is also a former Aon director and spent eight years at Qantas, finishing as group manager of workers’ compensation.

Gallagher says the appointment will help deliver greater consistency across sectors.

“Blake brings more than 30 years’ experience in risk management across global organisations, with deep expertise in people risk within multinational environments,” the broker said.

“Known for leading change and aligning strategy with client outcomes, he will work closely across the business to drive a more co-ordinated, client-led approach.”
