GT Insurance has recruited PSC regional executive Paul McLean to be its chief commercial officer.

Mr McLean has previously worked at Aviso Broking as chief distribution officer, and he also spent 12 years at QBE and nearly five years at Allianz.

Transport specialist GT says the appointment “marks an exciting step forward”, and Mr McLean will be part of the executive leadership team.

“Paul brings with him an exceptional depth of experience across the Australian insurer and broking markets,” the underwriting agency said.

“He is widely recognised for driving growth, fostering strong and enduring partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.”
