Lockton has appointed Evan Moore as head of real estate, to strengthen the broker and risk specialist's capacity in the sector. 

Mr Moore joins Lockton from Zurich Insurance, where he held a number of underwriting, portfolio management and executive leadership roles across the UK and Australia.

Most recently, he served as head of property, marine and technical lines for Australia and New Zealand, overseeing a portfolio of specialty insurance businesses across the region. 

Based in Sydney, Mr Moore brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience spanning real estate, property, marine, technical and retail insurance.  

Lockton notes Mr Moore has a strong track record in strategic leadership, portfolio management and business growth. It says his experience leading real estate underwriting operations and managing complex insurance portfolios will enhance the broker’s ability to deliver tailored risk and insurance solutions for clients in the real estate and development sector.  

Having worked across both the London and Asia-Pacific markets, Lockton says Mr Moore brings valuable global insight into complex risk management challenges and client needs.
