David Wigley has been promoted to head of commercial at Marsh’s New Zealand risk business.

Marsh says he brings a practical approach focused on understanding businesses’ unique risks, and will support the risk management needs of SMEs.

“The strong demand we are seeing for our risk and insurance solutions demonstrates that New Zealand’s SME sector is attuned to risks becoming increasingly interconnected and the impacts of this volatility,” Marsh said.

Auckland-based Mr Wigley joined Marsh in London in 2020 and was most recently national growth leader.

“I’m looking forward to working across new relationships in the market, as well as some older ones,” he said.
