Willis has appointed Mareli Vermeulen to lead merger and acquisition and transaction risk solutions across Asia.

She was most recently a director in the broker’s Pacific M&A team, advising clients on warranty and indemnity and tax liability insurance in Australia and New Zealand.

For the new role, she will move to Singapore and work in the Willis financial and executive risks business.
