Wotton Kearney hires cyber expert

Law firm Wotton Kearney says Leah Mooney has joined as a partner, based in Brisbane.

Ms Mooney was most recently with WTW, leading the broker’s Pacific technology, cyber and privacy consulting practice.

She has held senior roles at KPMG Law and MinterEllison, plus in-house legal positions advising on cybersecurity, privacy, technology contracts, foreign interference and regulatory compliance.

“Leah’s experience in data and AI governance further strengthens our ability to assist clients … in an age where regulation and law is evolving rapidly to keep pace with uptake of new technology, ever increasing the risk surface for our clients,” Wotton Kearney head of cyber, data and technology Kieran Doyle said.
